Right of Withdrawal and Returns

At Rosendahl.com, we offer free returns on all orders.
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 30 days.

Please note: If your order has already been sent for warehouse processing or has been dispatched, we unfortunately cannot cancel it. However, you can still exercise your right of withdrawal by returning the item after receipt.

 


Have you already received the item?

You can find the link to the return portal at the bottom of your invoice or in the email "Your package is on its way!". Click on "Click here to return your items" to create your return.

When you use the return portal, we cover the return costs.

If you choose to return the item in another way than via the return portal, you are responsible for the return costs and for the item until it has been received by us.

How to return your items

  1. Select item and return reason
    In the return portal, select the items you wish to send back, enter the return reason and click Create return. When handing in your return parcel at a GLS ParcelShop, you will receive a shipping label by e-mail, which you must print yourself and attach to the parcel before handing it in at the parcel shop.

  2. Pack the item securely
    Pack the product/products securely in the enclosed packaging or other secure packaging. Make sure the contents are well protected during transport.

  3. Return label
    Once the return has been created, you will receive an e-mail from GLS with your prepaid return label.
    Print and attach the label on top of the old parcel label.

  4. Hand in at a GLS ParcelShop
    Hand in the parcel at any GLS ParcelShop. Remember to keep the receipt as documentation.
    Find your nearest GLS ParcelShop at www.gls-pakkeshop.dk or in the GLS app.

  5. Refund
    Once your return has been received and registered at our warehouse, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. We will refund the amount without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt. You can track the return parcel in the GLS app.


Right of withdrawal

The withdrawal period expires 30 days from the day on which you receive the goods in your physical possession. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, the deadline will be extended to the following business day.

This means that you have 30 days from receiving the goods to notify us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. Once you have informed us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, you then have 14 days to return the goods.

Please note that you cannot withdraw from the purchase simply by refusing to receive the goods or by failing to collect them, unless you also inform us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

Due to their size or weight, certain items cannot be returned by standard parcel post and must be returned by freight carrier. The cost of returning such items is expected to amount to a maximum of DKK 1,000. Please contact customer service for further agreement before returning the goods.

*Exception: For made-to-order items (Kay Bojesen Masterpieces), you are responsible for the return costs. The cost will be deducted from the refund of your purchase. Please contact customer service if you wish to return a made-to-order item.

Withdrawal from part of the purchase
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased as part of the same order.

Please note that delivery costs will not be refunded if you withdraw from part of your purchase.

Refund
If you withdraw from your purchase, you will receive your money back. If the value of the goods has been reduced, we will deduct the amount for which you are liable.

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs. However, this does not apply to any additional delivery costs incurred if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us.

We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received your return parcel. Please remember to keep the receipt from the carrier as documentation that the goods have been sent.

We will make the refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged in connection with the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or until you have provided documentation that the goods have been returned.

Testing the goods and packaging
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We recommend that you return the goods in their original packaging, as missing original packaging may result in a reduction in value. Please also ensure that the goods are properly packaged when returned.

You bear the risk for the goods until they have been received by us. Therefore, please keep your postal receipt and any track & trace number.

Complaints and defective goods
When you shop at Rosendahl.com, you are covered by statutory consumer rights regarding defective goods. As a consumer, you have the right to complain about defects or lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery and become apparent within 24 months of receipt.

This does not apply to defects, damage or wear caused by incorrect use, lack of maintenance or ordinary wear and tear. In the event of a complaint, defect or missing delivery, please contact webshop@rdg.dk.

Numbered products
For numbered products, such as limited editions, please note that in the event of a complaint and any replacement, it may not be possible to provide the same number as stated on the original product. If your complaint is justified, we will offer a corresponding product of the same type, but due to the special numbered nature of the product, we cannot guarantee the same or a specific number. If a corresponding numbered product cannot be supplied, we will instead offer repair where possible, a price reduction or a refund.

Statutory rights for defective goods
As a consumer, you have statutory rights for 24 months in relation to defective goods. If your complaint is justified, this means that you may be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced, receive a refund or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.

You must notify us of the defect within a reasonable time after you discovered it.

Always contact webshop@rdg.dk in connection with complaints. Once you have contacted customer service, we will assess whether the complaint is justified and provide instructions on the next steps. We will refund reasonable shipping costs if the complaint is justified. The goods must always be returned in proper packaging, and please remember to obtain a receipt for dispatch so that we can refund your shipping costs.

Please do not return the goods before you have contacted customer service.
